Youth Tai Chi Ambassador

Mission Alignment

Wellness Energy Tai Chi Movement is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving balance, leg strength, and overall quality of life through Tai Chi practice. Our mission extends to supporting youth mental health, physical wellness, and positive community leadership through Tai Chi and mindful movement.

The Youth Tai Chi Ambassador program empowers young leaders to share Tai Chi’s benefits with their peers, promote healthy living, and connect generations through movement and mindfulness.

 
Role Purpose

The Youth Tai Chi Ambassador serves as a student leader and role model, helping to inspire, teach, and engage other youth in Tai Chi practice. This position promotes cultural awareness, mental wellness, and community connection through service and leadership.

 
Key Responsibilities
  1. Youth Leadership & Mentorship

    • Assist in youth Tai Chi or Wushu demonstration sessions.

    • Mentor younger students and encourage discipline, focus, and self-confidence.

    • Represent the organization at community, school, and cultural events.

  2. Community Outreach

    • Help organize youth-focused Tai Chi activities and wellness workshops.

    • Support public demonstrations that highlight the physical and mental benefits of Tai Chi.

    • Collaborate with peers to create engaging events promoting mindfulness and movement.

  3. Health & Wellness Advocacy

    • Share experiences on how Tai Chi supports youth mental health and focus.

    • Participate in social media or video outreach (with adult supervision and consent).

    • Promote positive habits and teamwork among fellow students.

  4. Program Support

    • Assist instructors with event setup, registration, or performance organization.

    • Provide input to improve youth engagement in classes or community programs.

    • Track volunteer hours and reflect on personal growth and community impact.

 
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Wushu or Tai Chi (minimum 2 years preferred)

  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

  • Interest in youth wellness, cultural education, and community service

  • Responsible and respectful communication
